My wife Hilary is a GP and has been a partner at Burnham Health Centre for 16 years. We have been very much a part of the local medical community since my appointment in 1990, and Hilary has been secretary of the Windsor Medical Society for the last 7 years.
We have three children - a physiotherapist, a lawyer and nearly a vet but no more doctors!
I am a keen gardener, growing fruit and vegetables as well as keeping our shrubs pruned and in shape. I am particularly interested in Natural History and we walk very regularly in Burnham Beeches where I am now spending more time taking photographs of local wildlife.
On a more intellectual level, we are regular theatre-goers and I particularly enjoy live theatre as well as films. Tennis and skiing in the winter keeps me reasonably fit, and we very much enjoy trekking when away on holiday.
