Mr Clark was born and educated in Bristol and studies Medicine at Cambridge University. After successfully completing his basic training on the St Mary's Hospital surgical rotation, he went on to higher surgical training on the North West Thames Orthopaedic rotation. This took him to Charing Cross Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, where he developed his interest in foot and ankle surgery. He spent the last year of his training on a travelling Fellowship to Melbourne, Australia, where he gained further expertise in foot and ankle surgery and spots injuries.
Upon his return, he worked briefly as a locum Consultant at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital before taking up the post of Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals in 2004.
He now has a very busy NHS and private practice centred on Windsor and South Bucks. This includes an on-call trauma commitment. He specialises in foot, ankle and knee surgery and has a keen interest in research and modern surgical techniques. Operations include bunion and forefoot surgery, major foot reconstruction, ankle arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction, ankle fusion and replacement, knee arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction and knee replacement.
