Background Information 
Professional profile:
Mr Meredith did his pre-clinical training at Keble in Oxford and his clinical training at St George's in London. He then went on to train in ear, nose and throat disorders in the Royal Navy.

Before being appointed as a consultant in 1987, Mr Meredith was a senior registrar at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Surrey.

He retired from the Royal Navy as Surgeon Commander in 1990.

Mr Meredith then took up a consultant post at the Carmarthen and Aberystwyth trust from 1990-1993 before moving to Hastings where he has been a consultant ENT surgeon since 1993.
