    Miss Sinha’s previous appointments included posts at Nottingham City Hospital NHS Trust in 1999, where she worked on one of the largest maternity units in the country. Previous to this, Miss Sinha spent two years at The Jessop’s Hospital for Women, at the Central Sheffield University Hospital working as a senior lecturer with a special interest in perinatal medicine and adolescent gynaecology.

    Miss Sinha’s special interests include teenage pregnancy, menstrual disorders, reproductive gynaecology and family planning. She has also presented papers at various scientific meetings in the UK and internationally including India, South Africa, France and the USA.
    Personal profile:
    In her free time, Miss Sinha likes to paint and play badminton as well as getting involved in voluntary activities, such as taking part in a flood relief in the state of Bihar and vaccinating over a thousand people against a cholera epidemic.
