Whitstable Medical Practice launches a new ENT (ear, nose and throat) clinic, run by Spire St Saviour’s Hospital in its Spire Whitstable clinic based at the Estuary View Medical Centre. The new ENT services will provide patients from Whitstable and the surrounding communities access to ENT Consultants and specialist equipment to help diagnose and treat conditions such as: glue ear; snoring and sleep apnoea and thyroid disease.

Spire St Saviour’s Hospital welcomes the reported findings of The NHS Medical Director, Professor Sir Bruce Keogh’s review into the UK’s cosmetic surgery industry. The review has assessed the current rules in England, investigating products, practitioners, insurance, patient information and consent, advertising and marketing of cosmetic interventions.

Spire St Saviour’s Hospital in Hythe, Kent, has met the mandatory national standards for quality and safety. A recent unannounced Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection found that the hospital met the required essential national standards in all five key areas. The findings were supported by positive accounts from patients treated at the hospital.
