I obtained my medical degree from Newcastle University after completing my postgraduate orthopaedic training in the northern region. I underwent additional surgical training in London, Ontario in complex hip and knee replacement and revision. In Canada I also trained in the management of early adult hip problems and hip arthroscopy before taking up a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon post at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead.

I specialise in lower limb surgery with an interest in sporting injuries.
