I trained as a Gynaecologist in Wessex deanery in 2004 before moving to Newcastle to complete my higher degree (MD) in ovarian cancer research in Newcastle University. I qualified as a specialist Gynaecological Oncologist and appointed as laparoscopy lead Consultant in reputable Northern Gynaecological Oncology Centre, Gateshead in 2010.
Became an internationally renowned expert in my field following my pioneering laparoscopic operations for the management of gynaecological cancers. Performed first Total Laparoscopic Radical Trachelectomy procedure in the UK in May 2011. Active in research, leading to good quality publications.
