I qualified in 1994 from St Bartholomew's Hospital. Having completed my general Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in London, I underwent four years of specialist training in laparoscopic surgery and urogynaecology at Oxford University and the John Radcliffe Hospital. Since becoming a consultant I have developed laparoscopic pelvic floor reconstructive surgery in Tunbridge Wells, offering uterine preserving surgery to women as an alternative to the more traditional and widely available hysterectomy.

The main focus of my work is laparoscopic (keyhole) reconstructive surgery for prolapse and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. I also specialise in pelvic floor problems related to childbirth and the management of urinary incontinence. I have been a consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Tunbridge Wells since 2008, specialising in Urogynaecology and Laparoscopic surgery.

I have published widely in peer reviewed journals and have a strong interest in training. I am recognised as a preceptor in laparoscopic surgery by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and oversees training in Laparoscopic Surgery in the London Deanery. I have maintained my links with Oxford, holding an honorary consultant post there and regularly being involved as faculty in their training courses.
