MD FRCP MBChb

"Staff at Spire want to look after my patients and to the best of their ability."

Specialises in

I am a senior consultant cardiologist at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

My clinical practice covers all aspects of general cardiology including hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, angina, arrhythmia, syncope and structural heart disease. I perform cardiac procedures including implanting conventional and biventricular pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac loop recorders.

I qualified from Manchester Medical School (UK) in 1999 and underwent post-graduate specialist cardiology training at Harefield, Royal Brompton and St Thomas' hospitals. I have a specialist interest in heart failure, cardiomyopathy and cardiac rhythm management devices. I achieved a postgraduate medical doctorate (MD), awarded by University of London in 2009, for research conducted at Imperial College London and the Royal Brompton Hospital, evaluating the early high risk period in patients with a new diagnosis of heart failure, particularly focusing on early prognosis and psychological impact of heart failure. I was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2015.
