I have been a dermatologist for eight years. I trained and was subsequently appointed as a consultant at one of the world's leading dermatology centres; St John's Institute of Dermatology, London. I am a spokesperson for the British Skin Foundation and an outspoken advocate of skincare and skin health. My opinion has been sought by newspapers and my skills are respected amongst both peers and patients.

I see patients with any skin concerns and have expertise in the treatment of complex dermatological conditions. My areas of special interest include acne, rosacea, vulval (genital) dermatology, skin cancers and skin surgery. I have performed thousands of skin procedures and have trained in advanced dermatological surgery. I have experience in cosmetic dermatological treatments and enjoy expertly combining the medical and aesthetic skills needed for safe, effective and rewarding results.

In addition to my clinical work, I hold a number of positions of wider responsibility. I am an elected member of the Royal Society of Medicine's Dermatology Council and I frequently participate in educational sessions to raise awareness on skin related issues.

I hold a qualification in Medical Education. I believe strongly in the effective training of doctors and in my NHS work support nurses, medical students, and future dermatologists in their learning. I thoroughly enjoy this role, which enables me to teach and pass on skills that I have refined over my many years of experience and specialist training. I am also the Dermatology Surgical Lead at University Hospital Lewisham where I have an oversight of the surgery performed in the department.

In addition to my clinical work, I hold a qualification in Medical Education. I am actively involved in training future doctors and dermatology trainees.
