I am a senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in knee and hip replacement. I have been a consultant for over 18 years and have implanted more than 3,000 joint replacements in that time, continually adopting new technologies and techniques to improve outcomes from surgery (as of 2022).

I specialise in the management of arthritis of the knee and hip. Treatment can be non-operative with steroid injections or PRP injections. Sometimes day case knee arthroscopy is indicated. I perform a complete range of knee replacements including partial knee replacement, total knee replacement, patient specific knee replacement and revision (redo) knee replacement. I also perform hip injections and total hip replacement using top performing implants. 

I am now able to offer Mako robotic-arm assisted knee and hip replacement for appropriate patients at Spire South Bank Hospital. The use of a personalised surgical plan from a CT scan provides greater accuracy in placement and alignment of joint replacement. Further details can be found using the above link.
