I deal with a wide breadth of women’s health issues, including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, painful sexual intercourse, menopause and lichen sclerosis.

I have performed hysteroscopies (telescopic examination into the uterus) under local and general anaesthetic, diagnostic and operative laparoscopies (keyhole surgery into the abdomen), resection of endometriosis, hysterectomies – open laparotomy and laparoscopic, excision of vulval, vaginal and cervical lesions (for example polyps). I also perform transvaginal ultrasound scans.

I am a good listener and believe that when it comes to women’s health, there are several factors that have a big impact to our quality of life. I aim to listen and work together with my patients so that we can achieve a good outcome.

I have been a Consultant in the NHS since 2016, working first at Salisbury District General Hospital then onto Portsmouth’s Queen Alexandra Hospital in from 2018. I completed my training in General Obstetrics and Gynaecology covering a wide breadth of women’s health and completed my advanced training in Benign Gynaecology, focusing on open surgery and Laparoscopic Gynaecological treatments. I have developed an interest in menstrual disorders ranging from heavy menstrual bleeding, intermenstrual bleeding and lack of periods.
