I am a consultant plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon. I was appointed as a consultant at the University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust and the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust where I worked for 10 years.
I have a general plastic and cosmetic surgery practice with sub-specialty interests in breast surgery (enlargement, uplift, reduction and reconstruction), as well as facial rejuvenation (face lift, brow lift, eyelid reduction, nose re-shaping and ear re-shaping), body contouring (liposuction, abdominal reduction, arm reduction, thigh lift and body lift) non-surgical cosmetic procedures (anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, chemical peels and laser treatments).
I hold memberships with the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and American Society of Aesthetic & Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS).
I graduated from the National University of Singapore Medical School in 1987 and trained in plastic and reconstruction surgery in the regional plastic centre at Mount Vernon Hospital in London, Queen Mary University Hospital in Roehampton and the Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury.
I undertook my 18 month breast reconstruction fellowship at the regional breast centre based at the University Hospital of Manchester and at the plastic and reconstruction unit at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, USA. I then undertook a six-month cosmetic fellowship at the renowned Wellington Hospital in London gaining experience in endoscopic brow lifts, facelifts, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasties and body contouring, including abdominoplasties and liposuction.

Personal profile
I am married to an aesthetic doctor who carries out non-surgical cosmetic treatments. I enjoy all water sports - water skiing, windsurfing, and scuba diving. I play tennis and have an embarrassing golf handicap of thirty.
