My clinical practice spans the general orthopaedic surgery, both upper and lower limb, but with an emphasis on the management of complicated acute and chronic fracture surgery.

This includes the treatment of bone non-union and deformity resulting from both congenital conditions and acquired injuries. I have a particular interest in the use of external fixators to help in the management of these problems, but will always use the technique best suited to the problem and the patient.

I have been nominated for and received several awards during my career at the NNUH, including Patient Choice - Most Outstanding Individual Member of Staff. 

During my training I spent time in the Liverpool Limb Reconstruction Unit and at the Denver Medical Center in the USA, gaining invaluable experience in complex surgical techniques.
