Mr Akyol is a Consultant Surgeon in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with a major interest in organ transplantation (liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation). His other sub-specialty interests are laparoscopic surgery and Endocrine Surgery. In addition to laparoscopic gallbladder and hernia surgery, Mr Akyol performs less common and more advanced laparoscopic procedures such as laparoscopic adrenalectomy and nephrectomy.
