Mr. McKinley completed all of his surgical and orthopaedic training in Edinburgh and then spent an additional year of specialist training with one of Australia’s top Foot and Ankle surgeons in Melbourne.

He has been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh since 2007 and was the first consultant in Scotland to be appointed primarily as a foot and ankle surgeon.
