Background Information
Professional profile:

Undergraduate and post graduate surgical training in Edinburgh at the Royal, Western General Hospital and St Johns Hospital in Livingston, where Mr Raine developed his interest in plastic surgery. This was followed by a short period in Canniesburn, plastic surgery unit, Glasgow, before undertaking a two year plastic surgery research degree in Sydney, Australia. He then returned to the North East of England to complete his higher surgical training programme in Plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. As a nationally appointed fellow in oncoplastic breast surgery Mr Raine extended his breast surgery experience.

On completion of my training programme he was awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons, England a BASO oncoplastic travelling scholarship to the university hospitals in Gent, Belguim and the Crawford Long hospital, Atlanta, USA. While in the states Mr Raine spent an enjoyable time working within a purely aesthetics practice in California. In the States he consolidated his experience in Facial aesthetic surgery including, face-lifting, brow lifting, eyelid rejuvenation surgery, body contouring in particular after weight loss surgery.

Mr Raine recently started his consultants post in St Johns Hospital in Livingston where he specialises in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery.
