I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist in West Yorkshire and specialise in cataract surgery and the treatment of glaucoma and am now offering new surgical techniques, selective laser trabeculoplasty, the latest micro pulse laser treatment, micro incision cataract surgery with a particular interest in more complex and challenging cases and clear lens extraction.

I have completed training with a highly regarded Glaucoma Fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. I have authored chapters on selective laser trabeculoplasty in medical texts and in peer reviewed journals. I remain an active member of the medical research field and am internationally recognized as an SLT expert and am a member of the SLT International expert panel.

I am regularly invited as a guest lecturer at International and National meetings presenting and discussing research findings and new techniques / treatments. I am also working on strengthening hospital links with the community and hold a substantive NHS consultant post with the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Trust and am the clinical lead for glaucoma.

I see private patients at the Spire Methley Park Hospital, Leeds and am also responsible for the local lectures course for Doctors, Nurses and Opticians.

I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and a fully accredited Consultant on the General Medical Council Specialist Register.
