Specialises in

I am a Senior Physiotherapist working in outpatients at Spire Manchester Hospital. My specialist interests include: ante and postnatal physiotherapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, clinical pilates, post-operative physiotherapy, acupuncture, scar therapy and shockwave therapy.

After qualifying in 2003, I initially worked in the NHS and gained a broad range of experience in musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory and paediatric physiotherapy. I joined the physiotherapy team at Spire Manchester Hospital in 2008 working across both the inpatient and outpatient departments.

Following the birth of my children, I developed a keen interest in ante and postnatal and pelvic floor physiotherapy. I have completed many post-graduate courses in these areas.

In 2013, I began my Pilates training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). I am now a fully certified APPI Pilates instructor. I have completed additional training in ante and postnatal Pilates, pilates for osteoporosis and pilates during the menopause. I teach clinical pilates and postnatal pilates classes at Spire Manchester Hospital each week.

I am a certified Mummy MOT® practitioner.

I am also qualified in the application of acupuncture for pain relief and in the use of shockwave.
