My practice includes all aspects of adult and paediatric ENT. I specialise in diseases of the neck, larynx, salivary glands, thyroid, sinuses, throat, ears, skin and airway. I perform thyroidectomy, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, grommets, ear drum repair, pinnaplasty, sinus surgery, septoplasty, removal of skin lesions, salivary gland surgery, neck dissection, voice surgery, throat cancer surgery, airway surgery, laser surgery and snoring surgery.
I completed medical school with a distinction at The University of Sheffield. My specialist training was completed in Manchester. I received additional specialist training during a nationally appointed head and neck cancer fellowship at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London and have learned from surgeons in New York, Toronto and Melbourne.
As chair of the North West Shared Airway MDT, I coordinate the management of patients with upper airway conditions ranging from difficult to manage chronic coughs, through to complex voice issues and difficulty breathing. I am the surgical lead for the Manchester University NHSFT Safer Surgery Group and an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons.
