I am a Consultant General Surgeon working in private practice at Spire Hartswood Hospital and Spire London East Hospital. I have been working as a consultant surgeon since 2014.  My subspecialist interests are general surgery, colorectal surgery / proctology and endoscopy. 

I am the Clinical Director for general surgery, endoscopy and gastroenterology departments at Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust. I am also the lead for Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust Academy of Surgery, which is the training programme for the junior doctors.

I have been involved in the development and improvement of services in general surgery patient pathways and hot clinics, including day case investigations and management for various general surgery conditions.

I led the development of minimally invasive proctology services at the Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust for the haemorrhoids, anal fistula and pilonidal sinus which include video assisted anal fistula treatment (VAAFT), endoscopic pilonidal sinus treatment (EPSiT), transanal haemorrhoidal dearterialisation (THD) and Rafaelo procedure.
