I have a major interest in stone disease, with over 20 year's experience, and performed over 700 PCNLs (major keyhole stone surgery.) I perform over 200 laser stone operations a year, including ureteroscopies (URS) & flexible Ureterorenoscopies (FURS). I have links to a major Lithotripsy centre and have performed this myself. I am also extremely keen on prevention of stones and run metabolic work up testing to help.

I specialise in all stone operations (PCNL, ureteroscopy and flexible ureterorenoscopy), Lithotripsy, stone prevention, and endourology in general, including stents and strictures. I laser cancers in the kidney and bladder. I have a second specialist interest in modern prostatectomy, including Holmium prostatectomy (HoLEP), Greenlight and Urolift. I also offer a full general urology service, including circumcision, vasectomy, scrotal problems, recurrent urinary tract infections, prostatitis, pelvic and bladder pain syndrome. I am proficient in the investigation of blood in the urine, prostate cancer and mixed urinary symptoms, including overactive bladder and poor flow.

I have performed over 50 Holmium Laser prostatectomies (HoLEPs), and have been asked to be a mentor. I am both Greenlight prostatectomy and Urolift trained, and happy to offer these. I have a major interest in recurrent Urinary tract infections and bladder / pelvic pain and prostatits. I also laser bladder cancers.

Over 700 PCNLs, over 1,500 Ureteroscopies and Flexible Ureterorenoscopies. 60 HoLEPs, over 100 Greenlight Prostatectomies, over 500 circumcisions and scrotal operations. I have performed the first Urolift operation in north London, and have performed over 1,000 cystoscopies, over a 21 year period in both my NHS and private practice.

I am Director of Endourology and Stone Services for Barts Health.

I lecture for Queen Mary, on urolgical conditions and I am advising them on the content of their curriculum.
