I am a Consultant Gynaecologist with over 20 years of experience. My primary qualification is from University of Ruhuna in Sri Lanka. I completed my Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from University of Colombo in 2002.

I attained membership from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in 2004. I was then awarded a Masters in advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy in 2016. I went on to be awarded fellowship of the RCOG in 2018.

I specialise in gynaecological surgeries, particularly laparoscopic surgeries. I have developed my skills in gynaecological surgeries in open procedures and vaginal procedures. I also have a special interest in advanced endometriosis and robotic surgeries.

To date, I have performed over 1,000 laparoscopies and hysteroscopies. I am a qualified robotic laparoscopic surgeon and have performed around 300 MyoSure procedures.

I am a meticulous surgeon with interest to detail. I am extremely proud of my work and the relief it provides to my patients. I like to know my patients' problems in their entirety and in detail to be able to offer them tailor-made solutions. I am grateful for the multiple endoscopic skills that I learnt and the opportunity it gives me to relieve problems for my patients.
