I am a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. I have 20 years of experience in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a member of British Menopause Society and The British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). I am an accredited colposcopist and a trainer.

I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including prolapse repair/pelvic floor repair, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT, pelvic pain, vaginal surgery and Minimal Access surgery (Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic procedures including Outpatient Hysteroscopy), colposcopy, Vulval disease, Early pregnancy problems, sexual health testing, Ovarian cyst removal and urogynaecology.

My broad training within the field of obstetrics and gynaecology has enabled me to develop specialist interests within the field of women’s health. I have a keen interest in teaching and am an educational supervisor for trainee doctors during their clinical placements and in charge of GP trainees at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.

I have published widely within the obstetrics and gynaecology peer reviewed literature throughout my career and frequently present my work in international and national medical conferences.

I am the consultant lead for Gynaecology Clinical Governance at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.

I am proficient in English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
