I am a leading Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in the West Midlands, and see patients across Birmingham, Solihull and Worcester. My aim is to manage hip and knee pain both surgically and non surgically, preserving the natural joint wherever possible.

My speciality is in hip and knee surgery with patients coming to see me for a range of issues such as sports injuries, pain from osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, fractures, hip dysplasia (malformed hip joints), ligament tears and degeneration as well as conditions such as Perthes’ disease.

I am the only surgeon in the Midlands who performs minimally invasive hip surgery utilising the direct superior approach. This spares all the muscles required for a normal gait with minimal scarring which results in a quicker recovery.

I also perform hip and knee surgery using the Mako robotic arm which helps to improve the precision of hip and knee replacement surgeries.

After graduating from Warwick Medical School in 2004, I completed my Orthopaedic training on the Warwick Orthopaedic Training Programme, followed by further advanced training at Oxford.
