As a Consultant Gynaecologist with over 12 years of experience, I have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of women's health. I have worked at both Walsall Healthcare Trust and Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital, and I am currently the Chief Medical Officer at Walsall Healthcare Trust.

My specialties include general gynaecology and menstrual disorders. I have a particular interest in gynaecological scanning, which involves using special imaging techniques such as ultrasound to examine the reproductive organs. I also have expertise in ambulatory gynaecology, which is a type of care that allows women to be treated and discharged on the same day, without the need for an overnight stay in the hospital.

I am experienced in performing a wide range of gynaecological procedures, including laparoscopic ovarian cystectomies (removal of cysts on the ovaries), laparoscopic salpingectomies (removal of fallopian tubes), treatment of endometriosis (a condition where the tissue that lines the uterus grows outside of it), abdominal hysterectomies (removal of the uterus), hysteroscopic MyoSure (removal of fibroids and polyps in the uterus using a thin telescope), endometrial ablation (removal of the lining of the uterus), and hysteroscopic resection of septum (removal of a septum in the uterus).

I am the lead author of the national guidelines from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology on sickness and vomiting in pregnancy. This means that I have played a key role in developing these guidelines, which are used by other doctors to provide the best care for pregnant women. I have also held an executive position on the Association of Early Pregnancy Units UK as a national expert on early pregnancy and acute gynaecology problems. This means that I have been recognised as an expert in this area and have been involved in shaping the direction of care for early pregnancy and acute gynaecology problems at a national level.

I have given several lectures on these topics and have trained on the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) courses. This means that I have shared my knowledge and expertise with other doctors and have kept up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

Please note that I do not offer obstetric support from Spire Little Aston Hospital. This means that I do not provide care for pregnant women at this particular hospital.

I possess higher degrees and qualifications in research, medical education and medical leadership. I have several publications and have led and set up new clinical services in gynaecology. I also have a higher degree in teaching and have held positions of training both within the deanery and in the undergraduate medical schools at Warwick and Birmingham Universities. My experience in teaching medical students has played a role in shaping the education of future doctors.

I take great pride in my work as a consultant gynaecologist and am committed to providing the highest quality of care to my patients. I understand that dealing with women's health issues can be a sensitive and personal matter, and I strive to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for my patients. I am dedicated to listening to my patients' concerns and working with them to develop personalised treatment plans that meet their individual needs. I believe in the importance of clear communication and will take the time to explain any procedures or treatments in detail so that my patients fully understand what to expect. I am passionate about providing the best possible care to my patients, and I am committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field. I assure you that every care and attention will be provided to you during your treatment with me.
