I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including ankle replacement and fusion, sports injuries to foot and ankle, bunions, chronic foot pain, tendoachilles surgery, arthroscopic surgery and knee replacement.

I completed my basic surgical training in East Yorkshire. I undertook higher orthopaedic surgical training at Oswestry (West Midlands) and Manchester rotations. I trained extensively in foot and ankle surgery. This includes a one year fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at Wrightington Orthopaedic Hospital with Peter Wood. I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals in April 2007.

I have published research articles on several topics including total ankle replacement, tendoachilles surgery and tendon repair techniques.
