I am Consultant Gynaecologist working at Queen's Hospital with more than 20 years of experience working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After working in challenging conditions in India and Nepal I came to the UK and trained in sought after London deaneries.

My area of expertise is acute gynaecology and early pregnancy, recurrent miscarriages, gynae scanning, hysteroscopic surgery.

I run a dedicated specialised vulvar clinic where I assess and treat a wide range of vulval conditions. I treat period problems, fibroids, polycystic ovaries, post menopausal symptoms, prolapse and patients having difficulty in getting pregnant. I have a busy NHS practice at Queen's Hospital. My motto is patients first and I keep the patient in the centre of everything that I do so my treatment is tailor-made for all individual patients.

I offer outpatient management of miscarriage with MVA. My special interest is managing cases with recurrent miscarriage and help them achieve normal pregnancies and take the baby home. I offer 2D as well as 3D vaginal scanning. I do laparoscopic surgery for treatment of ovarian cyst, mild to moderate endometriosis, polycystic ovary, chronic pelvic pain, sterilisation and salpingectomy. I do all hysteroscopic surgery outpatient as well as inpatient including TCRF, resection of septum, polypectomy, myosure, endometrial ablation. I do smear tests, colposcopy, LLETZ procedure and vulvoscopy and vulval biopsies. I do hysterectomy, myomectomy, cervical cerclage and labioplasty in cases where indicated. I try to offer a practical and sensible approach to gynaecological problems and issues, and I do not like to offer unnecessary investigations or procedures.

To date I have performed around 1,000 hysteroscopies, more than 500 hysterectomies, more than 500 laparoscopies, around 500 colposcopies and more than 1,000 transvaginal scans.
