Mr Woodcock is a military consultant ophthalmic surgeon and was appointed as military consultant ophthalmic surgeon to Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust in 2007. He trained in two of the country's busiest vitreo-retinal units at Birmingham Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. He is also an experienced cataract surgeon with a special interest in complex high-risk cataract cases, ocular trauma and aviation medicine. He has lectured widely and has numerous publications on these subjects.
Mr Woodcock’s positions of office include Wing Commander in Her Majesty’s Royal Air Force.
Mr Woodcock’s special interests include cataract surgery, macular hole surgery, retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration and retinal vascular problems.
