I have been a Gynaecologist for over 30 years with a wide experience in most aspect of the specialty. I specialise in hysterectomy both abdominal and hysteroscopically, hysteroscopy, repair surgery, ablation and pelvic pain. I can provide an ultrasound scan at the initial consultation if required and discuss options of care with the patient.

I run two clinics per week at Spire Bristol Hospital and offer regular operating slots. I've been a Consultant Gynaecologist since 1988.

I perform laparoscopy procedures, hysteroscopy and hysteroscopic surgery, and hysterectomies both in the NHS and in private practice. I do endometrial ablation and resection of fibroids and resection of endometrium, also high definition detailed pelvic scan. 

My current role is a substantive gynaecology consultant at North Bristol NHS Trust. I have regular clinics and theatre sessions. I am an educational supervisor and also I am the ATSM supervisor for hysteroscopy surgery and benign gynaecology surgery. I do complex laparoscopc surgery including TLH. I am currently the only surgeon doing hysteroscopic surgery including TCRE. I have designated teaching list to provide teaching opportunities for junior consultants. I am the current PAS lead for both MDT and surgery.

I also work at St Michael's Hospital.

I will see patients covered private medical insurance and am covered by the following insurance providers: 

AXA, AVIVA, BUPA, Alliance Health Care, Healix Health, Vitality, WPA, Cigna and Exeter Friendly.

I am the Lead Dr on the placenta accreta spectrum PAS for the Trust and have recently finalised the accreditation for the Trust to manage the south west regional service for placenta accreta spectrum.
