Sunita Farmah has been working as an Occupational Therapist since 2005. Since then she has rapidly progressed to a Clinical Specialist in Hand Therapy and Splinting. Her specialities also encompass the fields of Orthopaedics and Rheumatology.
She currently works as a Clinical Specialist for the NHS within a fast paced Acute Hospital and has a wide range of highly developed skills in the assessment and treatment of hand related conditions ranging from tendon repair, bone injuries, joint mobilisation, nerve damage and soft tissue injuries. She is also highly experienced in treating Dupuytrens disease, Carpal tunnel syndrome, Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), arthritic conditions and scar management amongst others. She is skilled in the fabrication of static and dynamic splinting using thermoplastic materials.
Sunita is responsible for the triage of referrals, running a hand therapy clinic as well as overseeing the smooth running of the Orthopaedic and Rheumatology service.
