Professional profile:

Dr Pemberton trained in medicine at the Royal London Hospital Medical College and graduated in 1995. He completed specialist training in Haematology in the West Midlands and was appointed as Consultant Haematologist at Worcestershire Royal Hospital in May 2005.

He has a large clinical practice in haematological malignancies such as lymphoma, myeloma and leukaemia. His other interests include myeloproliferative disorders, coagulation disorders such as venous thrombosis and bleeding disorders.

In addition, he is Head of the Haematology Department at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
