Chris qualified in 2009 from Teesside University and worked for nearly 5 years within the NHS in Durham. After completing his junior rotations, he specialised within the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy where he further developed his career working with Durham County Cricket Club as Academy Physiotherapist, before moving to Worcester to work at Spire Healthcare.
Chris specialises in Sports Science, Medicine and Orthopaedic rehabilitation and has a particular interest in lower limb rehabilitation. He keeps his skills up to date regularly by attending relevant training courses. Prior to his physiotherapy training, Chris completed a Sport and Exercise Science degree, giving him a broader perspective. He uses a combination of treatment techniques including manual therapy, acupuncture, massage and exercise prescription, often in combination to achieve the best results for patients. He also enjoys sport on a personal level, which provides him with an understanding of working towards rehabilitation and fitness goals. Furthermore he has plans to start a postgraduate qualification in Sports Medicine in the near future.
