Dr Trevelyan is trained in general and interventional cardiology. He was appointed to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital in 2006 to set up a new, local angioplasty service. This started in October 2008. He trained in the UK and New Zealand, working in 4 interventional centres and is trained in angioplasty from both the femoral and radial routes.
As a National Heart Research Fund fellow Dr Trevelyan completed his MD at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire and the University of Warwick in 2002. He is also a BSE accredited echocardiographer.
Dr Trevelyan specialises in General Cardiology and has a sub-speciality interest in coronary angioplasty, percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty), echocardiography and trans-oesophageal echocardiography.
