Spire South Bank Hospital's specialist Breast Care Nurse, Claire McCormick, is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience. Claire has specialised in plastic surgery and breast surgery and is a qualified breast care nurse.
Claire works closely with the three Breast Consultant Surgeons at Spire South Bank Hospital in Worcester, to provide patients with emotional and practical support.
When you book your consultation with one of our Consultant Breast Care Surgeons, Claire will be at Spire South Bank Hospital to greet you and then stay with you during your examination and accompany you to imaging for any tests you may need. She is there to provide you and your family with the emotional and practical support and understanding that you may need at, what can be for some, a very stressful and upsetting time.
Claire is part of the multidisciplinary team meeting, where all the professionals who deliver your care meet to discuss your treatment plan.
If your Consultant decides that surgey is the best treatment for you, Claire will see you pre-operatively, on the day of your surgery, your follow up consultation where you will receive your results and also provide on-going support.
As well as working as the Breast Care Nurse for Spire South Bank Hospital in Worcester, Claire also carries out the Breast Health UK infrared scanning that we do at the hospital.
