The causes of infertility vary between individuals, but ultimately result in the inability to conceive a child. The Spire South Bank Fertility Clinic provides treatment and support for patients from Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties.
Infertility is not uncommon, with one in six to one in seven couples in the UK affected

The Spire South Bank Fertility Clinic is a satellite clinic for the London Fertility Centre, Harley Street, London. Our clinic gives you the opportunity to access local experts in fertility with the benefit of the full range of services and leading assisted conception experts at the London Fertility Centre.
Modern lifestyles and careers often mean that women postpone having children until later in life. From the age of 25 a woman's chance of getting pregnant can start to decline. When a couple are trying for a baby, the man's fertility is just as important as the woman's: 30-40% of reasons of infertility reside in the woman and 30-40% reside in the man.
Our involved approach to care guarantees that our staff thoroughly know and understand your clinical needs, better enabling us to tailor your fertility treatment to the best possible outcome for you.
We understand that it is important for you to see an expert in the field of fertility problems, who can guide you through the investigative process and plan your subsequent care appropriately. Spire South Bank Hospital has a dedicated multidisciplinary team including consultant fertility specialists, a fertility nurse and radiologists.
Spire South Bank Fertility Clinic will be there to ensure you receive the highest standard of care. We have an initial investigation package price of £550, which includes the first tests that you and your partner will need, your consultation with our consultant surgeon and an ultrasound. After this initial consultation your consultant will discuss your personalised treatment plan with you. We are able to perform investigations such as tubal patency (hysterosalpingogram), laparoscopy, along with other gynaecological procedures, drug therapy or referral to a urologist for further semen analysis if required.
If your treatment plan includes assisted conception all the work up and monitoring can be done locally. Any subsequent HFEA-licensed treatment - including Intra-uterine Insemination (IUI), In-vitro Fertilisation (IVF) and Intra-cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) can then be carried out at the London Fertility Centre, or another HFEA licensed centre.
