Your consultations
Once you’ve made an enquiry, we can arrange for you to meet with one of our cosmetic surgeons in a private consultation room – usually within a few days. Breast uplift surgery: your procedure
When you arrive at Spire Southampton Hospital, you’ll meet your surgical team and anaesthetist before your operation. You’ll have a general anaesthetic for the procedure, which means you’ll be asleep throughout.
The operation usually takes between one and three hours. It involves the surgeon making cuts (incisions) in order to lift and reshape your breasts. They’ll use the techniques you agreed during your consultation. If you’ve come with a friend or family member, they’re welcome to wait in your room or our restaurant while you have your operation.
You may be able to go home on the same day as your surgery but, if you need to stay overnight, you’ll have your own comfortable, en-suite room that provides all the home comforts you need, including:
