I have been practicing plastic surgery in Edinburgh as a consultant since 1987. I completed my six years of specialist training in plastic surgery in London (North East Thames Regional Unit, The London Hospital, Whitechapel & St Bartholomew's Hospital). 

I had a busy and varied NHS practice specialising in skin cancer, facial reconstruction, breast surgery (including breast enlargement surgery), hand surgery (including congenital hand surgery) and lasers. I took early retirement from the NHS in 2008 to concentrate solely on my private practice where I now work full time.

The majority of my work is cosmetic facial and breast surgery. I have particular expertise in facelift surgery and rhinoplasty. I use liposculpture (liposuction and fat transfer), laser, Botox and fillers to compliment my facial surgical work. In addition, I run a one-stop skin lesion clinic at the Ambulatory Care Unit of the Spire Murrayfield Hospital. This clinic offers patients immediate surgical or laser removal of skin cancer and cosmetic excision of moles following the initial consultation. I have extensive experience of revision breast augmentation surgery.
