You can use our online payments page to pay any Spire Healthcare invoice. We accept payment by cash, cheque, bankers's draft, credit card or debit card.

Out-patient consultation and investigations for self-pay patients

Your consultant will send you a bill for the consultation and the hospital will charge you separately for any tests and treatment carried out. We will ask you to pay any hospital charges on the day of your visit.

In-patient or day-case treatment for self-pay patients

If, as a result of your out-patient visit, your consultant advises admission to hospital for an operation or for further diagnostic tests, this can normally be arranged under our Inclusive Care scheme for self-pay patients.

The Inclusive Care price will include your operation or procedure, consultants' fees, nursing care, accommodation, physiotherapy and medication, after-care, a follow-up appointment and further treatment that may arise if there are complications.

The price will not include personal expenses while in hospital, chemotherapy drugs and any tests or treatment not related to your main Inclusive Care procedure.

We need to receive payment in full at least five working days before your admission date. However, if you choose to pay by personal cheque, we need to receive this a minimum of seven working days before your admission to allow time for your cheque to clear.

Occasionally, we are unable to offer treatment at an Inclusive Care price. In this situation, we may offer you treatment under a self-funding agreement, where you would pay a deposit to cover the expected costs of your care. At the end of your stay, we would invoice you for any additional care and services provided above the level of your deposit, or we would refund part of your deposit if your care costs were below those expected.

Sundry items

In addition to the main treatment costs, there may be sundry items which you will need to pay for, such as telephone calls, meals for visitors and newspapers.

We will ask you to pay for any sundry items before leaving hospital or to provide credit or debit card details so that we can charge any sundry items to your card.
