Once you’ve confirmed you wish to go ahead, we’ll arrange a treatment date and ask you to pay the fixed price in full before admission.
No. One-off private treatment is designed for people who do not have private medical insurance, or whose insurance does not cover the treatment they need. It is a simple and manageable way to pay for private hospital treatment.
All you have to do is call us on 0800 434 6600 and we'll give you a guide price straight away, whether you've seen a consultant or not. If you don't know your condition or diagnosis when you call us, we may need to ask you to obtain a referral from your GP to ensure that we arrange an appointment with an appropriate consultant.

Yes. We know that continuity of care is important, which is why we make sure that you're looked after by the same consultant - from your first appointment through to your treatment and follow-up care.
All consultants are highly skilled and experienced and many are leaders in their field. They are supported by highly trained and dedicated nursing staff and a medical team is available 24 hours a day.
Every consultant working in a Spire Healthcare hospital is on the specialist register of the General Medical Council and has met our exacting
eligibility criteria.
If you've already seen a consultant at an NHS or other private hospital, and the same specialist can provide one-off private treatment at a Spire Healthcare hospital, we'll be happy to make all the arrangements for you. Alternatively, we can arrange treatment under a new consultant at one of our hospitals. If you are changing consultant, we will ask you obtain a new referral letter from your GP.
If you're staying overnight or longer, you'll have your own private room, with TV, radio, telephone, and en-suite bathroom. Every room is equipped with a nurse-call system, so you can get help at any time, day or night. If you’re having treatment as a day-case patient, you’ll probably recover in one of our comfortable day-case units.
You are welcome to take a tour of the hospital before admission, and view the type of accommodation relevant to your procedure.
The one-off private treatment price will include your operation or procedure, consultants' fees, nursing care, accommodation, physiotherapy and medication, after-care, a follow-up appointment and further treatment that may arise if there are complications.
The price does not include consultations and tests you may have before you come into hospital. As a rough guide, we suggest you allow £150 for this consultation and we will be able to confirm the actual charge when you contact us to book an appointment. At the time of your consultation visit, we will also be able to tell you the price for any tests that your consultant recommends.
Once you have confirmed that you wish to go ahead, we will arrange a treatment date and we will ask you to pay the fixed price in full before admission.
