Mr Papesch is renowned for his expertise in thyroid, parotid and small salivary gland surgery
With over 10 years consultant experience as a head & neck surgeon, Mr Papesch has many areas of expertise, including surgery of the thyroid, parotid and small salivary glands, as well as general ENT surgery.
Mr Papesch has extensive experience in the 'face lift approach' for parotid gland surgery, which minimises visible scarring post-surgery.
At Spire Roding, Mr Papesch specialises in thyroid and salivary gland surgery, as well as surgery for cancers of the head and neck area. He is also a key member of Spire Roding's team of ENT consultants, and undertakes general ENT procedures at the hospital, including FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery), septoplasty, reduction of turbinates, grommets, adenoids, tonsillectomy for adults and children and removal of head and neck lumps, bumps and skin lesions.
Mr Papesch's NHS practice is divided between Whipps Cross and Newham University Hospitals in east London, and St Bartholomew’s Hospital, where he specialises in benign and malignant head and neck tumours. He is a member of the British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons (BAETS).
At his private practice at Spire Roding Hospital in Essex (on the east London borders), Mr Papesch welcomes both privately insured and self-funding patients.
