Professional profile:

Professor Francis Chinegwundoh trained in London, the West Midlands and USA. His broad experience in urology allows him to deal with emergency and elective urology patients. He has particular interests in urological oncology, ED (erectile dysfunction), prostate, sexual dysfunction and incontinence. His articles on prostate cancer have been regularly published in the medical and surgical press.Professor Chinegwundoh has also done television work for Channel 4 and the BBC regarding prostate cancer. His You tube videos are well regarded. He has an international medico legal practice

Professor Chinegwundoh also runs an incontinence service and offers TVT for stress incontinence. He is the regional lead for prostate brachytherapy. Professor Chinegwundoh is currently working on a major research study in prostate cancer. He is on the selection panel for medical school entry. Since 2008 he has held a National Award for Clinical Excellence. He is the senior urologist in his Trust.

Personal profile:

Professor Chinegwundoh is married to a local GP and has two children. He is Executive Chairman of the charity Cancer Black Care and a Trustee of the Prostate Cancer Support Federation. His appearance in the TV hit programme ‘An idiot abroad’ garnered over 400k hits. In 2013 he was awarded a MBE for services to urology and the NHS, one of only a handful of urologists in the country to have been so honoured.
