Spire Roding Hospital launches a new sleep apnoea service
This new clinic is aimed at people who suffer from disrupted sleep due to sleep apnoea.
The clinic, which is run by Spire Roding Hospital's ENT surgeons and Dr Rajesh Banka, Consultant Chest Physician, offers patients tests to see whether or not they have true sleep apnoea. If tests diagnose severe sleep apnoea, the patient will be referred for CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) therapy, which is the appropriate and recommended form of treatment for the condition.
To be referred to the service, patients need a GP referral letter to a Spire Roding Hospital ENT Surgeon or Chest Physician in the first instance.
Appointments can be made by calling 020 8709 7878.
