Mr Guyer has a broad experience in general gynaecology and has extensive experience as a specialist minimal access surgeon, with a special interest in endometriosis and pelvic pain.
He is able to offer a wide range of gynaecological procedures for menstrual disorders, prolapse, continence problems as well as laparoscopic procedures for all benign gynaecological conditions.
Mr Guyer is a member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy and The American Association of Gynaecological Laparoscopists (AAGL) and regularly inputs into the AAGL annual meeting. He is a trainer/preceptor for minimal access surgery.
Mr Guyer is also the lead for the endometriosis centre in Portsmouth that is recognised by the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy as one of their centres. He is a member of the council for the BSGE and is responsible for the endometriosis centres project nationally.
Mr Guyer also provides up to date information for women on the menopause and hormone replacement therapy.
