Following completion of postgraduate medical training in Bristol, Dr Wallis undertook general radiology training in the Severn Deanery. During this time he furthered his medical education and also his interests in cardiothoracic radiology. Dr Wallis then went onto futher his education by successfully obtaining a fellowship in Cardiothoracic imaging with the University of Toronto, Canada.
Upon returning to the UK, Dr Wallis took up his position as a Consultant Radiologist at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth where he reports on all aspects of thoracic radiology including high resolution scanning and lung cancer staging scans. He also performs CT guided biopsies and general ultrasound and is accredited with the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging enabling him to report cardiac CT scans.
