As March is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, Spire Portsmouth Hospital has decided to raise money in support of The Prostate Cancer Charity by having a bake sale.
The Prostate Cancer Charity started in 1996 and has since become the country's leading voluntary organisation working with men diagnosed with prostate cancer, and their family and friends. The key message from The Prostate Cancer Charity is awareness; making sure that people understand the symptoms of the cancer, the dangers of not being checked and diagnosed and the treatments available to them.
Spire Portsmouth Hospital is proud to be supporting The Prostate Cancer Charity through their Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Staff will be donating homemade goodies in the hope that they will tempt people to help those in need, and for those who can resist temptation; hopefully they will give generously anyway!
