A British health insurance company has become the first in the industry to launch an iPad app to help intermediaries offer product quotes on the road.
PruHealth has designed the app to help brokers get the information they need quickly and effectively while they are out seeing clients. It gives advisers the chance to quote and apply on individual policies for small and medium business groups with three to nine members
The app has been created specifically for business healthcare and personal healthcare quotes, which can be used to tailor policies.
Sales director Dave Priestley said: "The launch of our iPad app is an exciting achievement and we look forward to working with intermediaries to develop this innovative new approach. Our sales support team and account managers all have iPads and are there to help intermediaries get the most from the app."
Business healthcare is well-promoted among companies of all sizes, as it can be seen as a pull to the best applicants during recruitment, as well as ensuring employees get good quality healthcare promptly.
