Following graduation in 1982, I received an MD degree from Keele University on my thesis on the Pathophysiology of Polycystic Ovary syndrome. I then undertook subspecialist training in reproductive medicine and surgery and have been practising as Consultant Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist since 2002. I have been in the post of Clinical Lead for Fertility Services at Birmingham Women’s Hospital since 2009.
I have been a member of the Subspecialist Training Committee of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and published in peer reviewed journals.
I provide informed and dedicated services in infertility, IVF/ICSI treatment and management of women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), Hirsutism and acne. I have developed the fertility service at Birmingham Women’s Hospital to become a thriving growing centre of excellence providing management to couples in West Midlands with infertility, with the highest standards of success and satisfaction matching the best national and international standards.
