Professional profile:

Mr Sonsale graduated in Medicine from Mumbai University in 1986. He worked at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for 13years. He spent 3 years working in the Orthopaedic department as a University Lecturer. After moving to the UK in 1995, he joined Nottingham Higher Surgical Training Programme. He later went to Cambridge Orthopaedic Training Programme to complete his last two years of training.

Durning his training he was awarded the following fellowships:
Knee Fellowship at Nottingham and Derby
Shoulder Fellowship - Derby
Pulvertaft Hand Fellowship.

He also trained at Nottingham Shoulder and Elbow Unit and during last year worked at Norwich Limb and Trauma Unit.

Mr Sonsale's NHS practice includes dealing with sports injuries, knee and shoulder injuries as well as a specialist hand sevice.
