Professional profile:

I am a practising Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon specialising in hand and upper limb surgery.

I initially did my training at St Thomas' Hospital in London.
I undertook several overseas fellowships in Hong Kong, USA, Australia and did my hand surgery fellowship in Aberdeen, Scotland prior to taking up my consultant appointment in Coventry (and now Rugby) in 1987.

My existing practice is in trauma and elective orthopaedics - both NHS and the independent sector. 25% of my patients present with a general orthopaedic problem and 75% with specific hand and upper limb problems.

For the past six years, I have been the clinical director of the Coventry / Rugby unit.

Personal profile:
I am married with three children and I live a few miles from Spire Parkway Hospital. In my spare time, I enjoy ski-ing and sailing.
